MICHAEL ANGELIDIS
Michael Angelidis completed his 29th season of coaching and playing basketball, and his 4th season as head coach at Kentwood H.S. by leading the Conquerors to the Washington 4A State Championship. In his four years at Kentwood, the Conquerors compiled a 74-37 record, went to the State Tournament twice and won the tough SPSL North League two years in a row. Coach Angelidis was voted SPSL Coach of the Year and WBCA Coach of the Year. Prior to Kentwood he coached at Mount Carmel H.S. in Chicago. While at Mount Carmel, the Caravan had its first winning season in eight years and the 16 wins during the 2005 season were the most for the basketball program in a decade. Coach Angelidis played basketball in Greece and was a member of the 1984 National Championship team. In addition, he was a scout for the Greek Olympic Team during the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games.
Prior to Mount Carmel he was the Head Coach at Marmion Academy in Aurora for six years. While at Marmion, the Cadets won twice as many games as in the six years prior to his arrival. Coach Angelidis was an assistant coach at Mount Carmel for two years, and helped coach the Caravan to a Catholic League and Regional Championship. Prior to his first stop at Mount Carmel he was an assistant coach at Loyola University in Chicago. Coach Angelidis graduated from the University of Patras in Greece and later received a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from North Carolina State University. He has received a Calculus Fellowship from the University of Chicago. He is currently teaching A.P. Calculus and A.P. Statistics in the Math Department at Kentwood HS. Mike, his wife Ellenore, their two sons, Dimitri and Damian, and daughter Leyla reside in Issaquah.

MICHAEL KELLY
Mike Kelly is entering his sixth season as the head basketball coach at Seattle Preparatory School (Seattle Prep) and his 13th season as a head coach in the greater Seattle area. His teams have qualified for the WIAA State Tournament in 6 of his 12 seasons as a head coach as well as capturing a top 8 finish 5 times--including a State Championship in 2006 with Prep. Currently, 13 of his former players are playing athletics at the collegiate level, while two are fortunate enough to be playing professionally in the NBA. Prior to Seattle Prep he coached at both Redmond High School (1998-2004) and Liberty High School (1996-1998). Coach Kelly was named “Coach of the Year” in 2006 by the Associated Press and by the Washington State Coaches Association. In 2004, Mike was given the KingCo League “Coach of the Year” award and has made 12 straight playoff appearances (1999-2010). The Washington Associated Press has ranked his teams as being in the top 10 in the state 8 times. EBC is very excited to have Coach Mike Kelly on board to help shape the basketball programs around the same success that he has experienced. With him and Coach Mike Angelidis, Eastside Basketball Club stands on a firm foundation of experience and a high level of success.
JORDAN WHEELER
Jordan Wheeler comes to EBC as a recent graduate of Whitman College with a degree in Politics. Jordan played four years of varsity basketball at Whitman, helping revamp the program under second year coach, Eric Bridgeland. Jordan was a three-year starter at Point Guard and will bring valuable guard skill teaching to EBC.
Jordan played High School ball under Michael Kelly at Seattle Prep. As a Seattle Prep Panther, Jordan was the starting point guard and team captain for two years. His teams were 3A Metro League champs in 2004-2005, 3A Sea-King District Champs in 2005-2006, and 3A State Champs in 2005-06. Jordan obtained All-State tournament, and also led the tournament in steals. Jordan coached a Seattle Rotary 5th-6th grade team to a Fall league championship. Specifically, Jordan will teach the fundamentals of creating space with the dribble; how to dribble more efficiently; how to maximize your first step off the dribble; and will break down the essential aspects of proficient guard-play. Jordan brings enthusiasm, hard work, and a litany of success to his instructional sessions at EBC, that we are confident he will be a beneficial contribution to the EBC family.
JOSH BOLLINGER

Josh Bollinger was born and raised in Everett, WA and currently lives in Kirkland. He attended Mariner High School and made the varsity team by his sophomore year where he led them in scoring all 3 years as a varsity athlete and eventually to the 4A state playoffs in 2002. Helping to rebuild a program that was 1-19 in 2000, by 2002 Bollinger and company were among the best teams in the state. Josh received the "Coaches Award (MVP)" in 2002 as well as the Snohomish County Basketball Officials Association "Sportsmanship Award." The Everett Herald described Bollinger as "...one of the best shooters in the state," while Seattle area coaches and the Seattle Times ranked him among the best in his conference, which put him on the same page with Brandon Roy (NBA) and many other future NBA and College players. Bollinger, while injury plagued, continued his playing career at Everett Community College and finished it at Northwest University (Communications Major).
Josh is currently the head coach for the boys junior varsity team at The Bear Creek School, as well as the assistant coach on the varsity team—which was the #1 ranked 2B basketball team in the state last season. He is excited and honored to be studying and learning under coaches that know how to win, both at Eastside Basketball Club and at The Bear Creek School. Coach Bollinger understands his occupation as more than just teaching kids to put a ball in a hoop, he believes in teaching integrity, respect, and quality of character as foundational blocks of a successful life.
TYLER SMITHSON
After graduating from Lake Washington High School, where he set the career assist record, Tyler Smithson went on to play at the University of Chicago. There he captained his team to two Sweet 16 and an Elite 8 appearance in the NCAA Division III tournament. Having been ranked #1 in the nation two years, his team set records for conference wins in a season, going 17-0 and won consecutive conference championships. Tyler also holds records for 3-point percentage for a single season and a career at the University of Chicago. Upon graduating college Tyler quickly moved to coaching at Eastside Catholic, where he was the head junior varsity coach and assistant to the varsity. He conducted individual workouts in the off-season with former NBA assistant Tom Newell. Most recently Tyler worked at Emerald City Basketball Academy where he was the High School Director, Head Coach of the High School second team and assistant to ECBA’s top High School team. Tyler’s coaching philosophy flows from a deep love of the game. From Tyler’s perspective, hard work, dedication, sacrifice and many other essential attributes to becoming successful, stem from a player’s love for basketball. Coach Tyler therefore accepts the role of challenging his players to enjoy the hard work he demands of them.
ANGELA JENSEN
Born and raised in Bellingham Washington, Angela Jensen graduated from Sehome High School in 1999. Playing the point position, she was a 3 year starter and 2 time 1st Team All Conference selection. She finished her senior year leading her team in scoring and assists, averaging 15.5 pts per game and 7 assists. Her team attended the State Tournament 3 out of the 4 years, with the highest finish being 5th place. She was selected to the 4A All-State Team as well as the Washington/Oregon Northwest Shootout, ending her career ranked as one of the top 10 female players in Washington. Entering her freshmen year of college, Angela attended Lewis-Clark State College where her team was ranked No. 1 in the Nation at the NCAA Division III level. With an undefeated record and a Conference Title, they headed to the National Tournament where the Warriors ended their season with an appearance to the sweet 16. At the conclusion of the season she made the decision to transfer to NCAA Division II Central Washington University. There, she started at point guard for 3 years and led her team to 2 National appearances. During her senior year as team captain, she broke the school record for assists in a season with 187, and assists in a game with 14, against Eastern Washington University. She led her team in scoring with 15.6 pts and 6.7 assists per game. She received 2nd Team All Conference honors and was selected onto the All Conference GNAC Academic Team. Angela double majored and graduated with a B.A. in Community Health Education Specialization as well as a B.A. in Health Education. After college Angela became an assistant at Yakima Valley Community College where she helped with recruiting. The following year she assisted at Eisenhower High School. She is currently the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Cedarcrest High School in Duvall Washington.
CJ STANFORD 
Over the last four years C.J. has been a head coach for the “Wildcat Select” basketball program in the upper SnoqualmieValley. In addition to his involvement with the “Wildcat Select program”, he has served as the head C-Team coach for Mount Si High School’s spring program for the last two years. Born and raised in North Bend, WA. C.J. found his passion for the sport of basketball at a very early age. As a player, he played AAU basketball throughout Junior High School, and was a member of the first AAU program in the SnoqualmieValley. After Junior High, C.J. continued to play football and basketball at Mount Si High School in Snoqualmie. Going into his sophomore football season, he sustained a major leg and ankle injury that prohibited him from playing football and basketball through his sophomore, and into his junior year. After major reconstructive surgery, C.J. continued to play and lettered in football during his junior and senior seasons. A graduate of EasternWashingtonUniversity, Coach Stanford is currently finishing his Master’s of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership through Gonzaga University. Coach Stanford’s training and coaching philosophy is based on skill development, work ethic, and intensity. C.J. believes that the mental aspect of basketball is central to a player’s success, and is passionate about helping kids maximize their basketball potential through hard work and discipline.
